Uzbekistan opens first innovative telemedicine clinic
Doctors may not only examine the patients in real-time, but also examine changes in the internal organs of the patient with the help of ultrasound, dermatoscopy, otoscope and other medical tools.
Uzbekistan has commissioned the first clinic with telemedicine practice. Professors and doctors of the Republican Specialized Scientific Practice Medical Center conducted telemedicine examinations of children under the age of 18 in the country’s most remote region named Muynak.
The main objective of the clinic is to provide online medical check-ups and consultations to residents of remote regions with qualified doctors from Uzbekistan and international specialists.
