"To conduct the study, the researchers used kidney cells of an African green monkey infected with a strain of coronavirus obtained from a patient from Germany. Infected cells were placed in two test tubes: one with a clean environment, the other with animal proteins, simulating real, not sterile conditions, " the report says.
After a standard heating procedure, the virus strains were completely deactivated in a clean environment, but some of them were preserved in non-sterile samples.
