Uzbekistan establishes charity fund to support cancer patients
The charity fund Ishonch was established at the Republican specialized scientific and practical medical center of Oncology and radiology.
The charity fund Ishonch was established at the Republican specialized scientific and practical medical center of Oncology and radiology.
The fund aims at:
- organizing the provision of medicines, medical products, medical equipment, research, procedures, as well as prosthetics, wheelchairs and other means of rehabilitation;
- organizing gratuitous care, support, social and labor rehabilitation of specialized patients;
- organizing psychological consultations, legal and informational support.
"There are many organizations in Uzbekistan that are engaged in charitable activities, among them there are those that provide individual care to patients with cancer," says Dilnoza Agzamkhodzhayeva, Deputy chief physician of the center, Executive Director of the Ishonch charitable fund. — In addition to providing medical care to patients, our goal is to contribute to the development of cancer services and increase recovery rates.
