Autumn holidays starts from 4th November
According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, students in Uzbekistan will complete their semester on November 2nd and begin their autumn holidays on November 4th. On November 11th, the second quarter of classes will begin.
The Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 140 of 2017 outlines the student vacation schedule, which includes four periods:
- Autumn: November 4 to six calendar days later
- Winter: December 28 to 14 calendar days later
- Spring: March 21 to seven calendar days later
- Summer: From the day of the final test until September 1
First graders will also have an additional week off in February. Classes will resume on the next working day if the last day of vacation falls on a weekend. Teachers will use a shortened curriculum to cover holiday-related topics in later lessons.
