Nuriddinjon Ismailov meets with new President of Iran
The Speaker of the Legislative Chamber, Nurdinjon Ismoilov, met with the newly elected President of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, in Tehran.
The sides exchanged views on the consistent development of multilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Iran, further deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation in trade, economic, socio-cultural spheres.
At the same time, the Iranian president highly appreciated the mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation between Tashkent and Tehran within the framework of international and regional organizations, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The parties have made a decision to focus on issues related to the further development of Uzbek-Iranian relations, bringing economic cooperation to the level of the existing potential, in particular, raising inter-parliamentary ties to a new level.
