Uzbekistan celebrates day of birth of great poetess Zulfiya
The poetess sang about kindness, mercy, loyalty and devotion, and won the deep love of our people.
Today, Uzbekistan celebrates the 103rd anniversary of the people's poetess Zulfiya. Solemn events dedicated to this significant date are held throughout the country.
Every year, spiritual and educational events are held at the monument to the poet. These events are attended by writers and poets, literary scholars, winners of the state prize named after Zulfiya, activists of the Women's Committee, representatives of the general public.

Zulfiya Israilova was born on March 1, 1915, in Tashkent. Since her childhood, she loved poetry, wrote poems. From the very beginning of her career, she realized that “poems become poetry when thousands of human hearts recognize them as their own. Therefore, the heart is always on the way”.
