Uzbekistan to hold second tender for Scaling Solar II project
The Ministry of Energy jointly with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) discussed the organization of the second stage of the tender within the Scaling Solar II project for the construction of photovoltaic (solar) power plants.
The Ministry of Energy jointly with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) discussed the organization of the second stage of the tender within the Scaling Solar II project for the construction of photovoltaic (solar) power plants.
IFC was represented at the meeting by Chief Investment Officer Atlan Bernard.
As part of the Scaling solar II project, a tender is expected to be announced for the construction of two photovoltaic plants (FES) with a capacity of 200 MW each in the Samarkand and Jizzakh regions.
The announcement of tenders is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
