Uzbekistan establishes VAT office for foreign Internet companies
From now on, companies such as Google, Yandex and others must either establish a representative office in the country or register. The registration is available through the website tax.uz.
The State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan announced the establishment of VAT office intended to allow foreign Internet companies operating on the territory of Uzbekistan to register as payers of value-added tax.
E-services imply the granting of rights to use the software, including games over the Internet, rights to use e-books, educational materials, music, and others.
